Just looking for some opinions on my currently under constructions webste: www.downriver-realestate.info It is a Point2Agent site and yes i know a lot of people are not too fond of the .info but considering i somehow made it to the first page for a few different search terms on MSN in less than a month i figure it'll do for now. Mainly looking for input on the layout. thanks in advance

I wouldn't have the same menu both on the left and at the bottom.

Actually, it's a good idea to have those menu items at the bottom of the page as well as along the side. The difference is that the menu items on the side are graphics and the items at the bottom are text. A search engine spider is much more likely to understand the text links rather than the graphical links, so it will be able to find it's way into the rest of your website through those links.

I find the site of little value... no MLS search, no featured properties, no real information to speak of, and not even a contact page that I could find?
I sincerely doubt the website can actually generate a lead...

Hello I have a point2agent website also. You may want to add featured homes about your company on the front page verus news links. YOu can add additional tab for news. Instead of breakign down into so many places you can use a local map or MLS to bring up the pages as needed.
Example: Create hidden page for Flat Rock. When a person click on the map you can bring up hot links like local information, listings and other information.
May be add some more color the red and white is too bland after couple mins.
You got a good start and I know it takes a while before you get everything you want on the website.
Good Luck

When I first loaded up the page, my eye was attracted to the red bar under all your links... and there wasn't anything there. It was a weird sensation.
I feel like there's too much space between your two columns. I think you might benefit if you could move them closer together, or move the right column (featured listing, contact info, etc) over to the right.

Personally I think it looks cookie cutter. Nothing really grabs my attention at all. The menus are nice and the featured properties on the home page work well. But the first impression is that its just a cookie cutter site.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
