I have an agent on my website that complains about her listing usually showing up under her competitors, and accusses me of favoritism.

I've tried to explain to her that it's a random thing, but insist that she refreshed the screen 10 timaes, and that 4 of out of 10 times her listing was on the bottom.

It's a free listing site, I don't charge anyone anything to put their listings on my site. It's all automated the agent creates his own accounts and all. I don't even approve listings.

I don't understand how people can be so demanding for a service I provide for free.

I even created help guide for them and everything. It almost makes me wanna take the site down. It's terrible.

Drop her account, charge her to be re-included with the stipulation that hers will be listed at the bottom. If she's getting any visitors at all from you, she'll jump at it after the initial emotions settle.

I wouldn't let it bother you. Just assure her that it's random generation and leave it at that.

It might be a great opportunity to introduce a fee scale that wieghts listings to the top. Ask what she feels a reasonable fee would be to include that algorithym into your programming.

It's a good idea.. maybe I'll setup a fee system just for her that will take a paypal payment for each listing she wants to see on top.. Not a bad idea..
