I'm not here to solicit, as I will be offering my personal services to local Realtors in my area.

Hi,
I'm a web developer of 5+ years and am researching the RE industry so that I may specialize in managing/creating RE websites only.

I have the techy backgroud to optimize a site, and so on. I'd like to get your feedback on whether my other types of services, as an Internet Assistant to Realtors, would be of any benefit.
My previous background also includes 15 yrs as an Executive Assistant in Silicon Valley,CA):

1. create/manage realtor's site
2. take home shots and/or mpegs(movie)[if this is legal for a non-realtor] and post
3. respond to general email inquiries and forward appropriately (instead of using auto-responders)
4. be responsible for community info postings

Please feel free to explain why you think any of the above listed services would be of benefit or not.
Also, if you used an Internet Assistant for Realtors, what other types of service would you pass on to her?

Your time and feedback are highly appreciated.

Blessings,

I would think there would be some Realtors interested in all your services - especially those who have little interest in the web or answering email but feel they need a presence to compete.

You may have to sell your services by speaking at office meetings etc. as that type of Realtor would never find out about you on the web \:\)

Since my target clients will be local (in order that I may give personal service) my marketing strategy will be direct-to-Realtors. I do like the idea of contacting brokers to speak at one of their office mtgs.

Thx for the idea and input.

We also suggest going to office meetings, but we suggest doing a good background check to see how tech savy (based on their web site) they are. Some agents (most) don't know that much about the internet other than answering e-mails. I would do a good search on the web for your area to see who you should target your efforts to.

Hi Monica,
I can tell you right now that there will be a definite benefit for any realtor to hire someone like you.
I, too am in the business of gettin real estate web sites ranked in the search engines and do work with many designers who specialize in creating lead generating sites.
One thing I have noticed is that many realtors are not very web savvy. They also don't seem to realize how much they are missing out on by not exploring all of the avenues available for them to utilize.

I would suggest to you to turn your idea into a real business plan and explain your services on your site.

Btw your designs are very unique ... Love them \:\)
