I have been online with this domain name almost a year, and have recently changed the format. I have used all the correct keywords, good description, etc. I dont rank well at Google and I have about 250 unique visitors a month. The problem is: I am not getting any results/contact from the visitors. I get a few buyer hits from the survey, but it seems they are not serious about house hunting yet. (I am not able to have searching of the MLS on my site and I am sure this is a hinderance) Why am I not getting any phone calls or emails? What am I doing wrong? What is not on my site, that would cause a potential buyer/seller to contact me? Help! Any feedback is welcome. http://www.HomesofWarnerRobins.com

Why am I not getting any phone calls or emails? What am I doing wrong? What is not on my site, that would cause a potential buyer/seller to contact me? When someone visits your web site after finding it on the internet they are after just one thing - listings and information about listings. When someone first enters your website they would click on your link to "Listings" and that takes them right off your website to your company website - they are gone! You would be better off changing that link so they were taken to your buyer form instead - you would get more leads. I have sites that have no listings and no way to search listings - just a buyer form and they do well. Ideally you should have a way for visitors to search the MLS without leaving your site though. On another note, your website does not display properly in the increasingly popular Firefox browser. A visitor using Firefox would never even see your link to "Listings". You should have your webmaster test your site in browsers other than Internet Explorer as it is costing you business.

check your logs and find out where your viewers are going after landing on your front page. Does that page(s) then have a call to action?, or is it a dead end to their needs?, or as mentioned, does it port them away form your site?.
I hope others will jump in and comment, but if you are porting away for MLS search, why not pop a survey on their way out, asking what services could you offer to make their search more meaningful.

Oh no! Is it really that bad? Can't be! I bought this site, as a template and edited to personalize. The font is fine, that is the way it came, and nobody else complained. I could increase the font, but I dont think that will make that much of a difference in the effectiveness of the site.
There is a buyers survey, click the buyers link.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
