Ok, I found a website that will let me build and host a site for free, but I suck at HTML, and I would like to incorporate IDX and info capture things. Can you give me any idea as to how I would go about doing this? Is there a code that I can put in the HTML so that it emails me the info they put into boxes? Any info or clarification would be greatly appreciated. Oh by the way, the site is www.bravenet.com in case anyone is familiar with it.

That site is a webhost. You must create the HTML files yourself. They provide some tools and features but you are on your own otherwise. If you are not familiar with HTML you would be better served with either hiring someone to create a site for you if your budget permits or using one of the template websites out there that give you a basic site you can then customize. I use Point2agent for example.
If you do a google search for "real estate website providers" you can compare them. One of the benefits of companies that focus on working with real estate agents is that they know what kinds of features you want. IDX, lead capture, information or buyers, sellers, etc.
It might be better to get a template site than try to build one yourself if you don't know what you're doing.
