I think video walkthroughs are the next thing to sell a home.

I use to do this back in 1991! Of course I would FedEx a video tape to the prospective purchaser.

I think the "NEXT IN THING" is going to be a home and garden type show producted for each home. With handyman looking guy with a tool belt on telling the view about how great the construction is and how "vintage" looking the facial is, etc.etc, and the lady on the show telling you about how to dress up the house and what type of plants to plant in the garden,etc... customized to each home. So you'll have a camera crew and talent visiting each of your listings to create a customized version of the show taylored to each home. Etc.etc.

I totally agree video walk throughs done the right way are great. With the new technology it is getting cheaper and cheaper to do one. Is anyone else seeing this I saw a site in my area doin videos for the home plus dining and other retail stores giving a whole video view of the area

I've been doing these since last December... definitely the way things are going, however the time element is a big factor - it takes a great deal of time (and proper equipment) to film, edit, narrate, etc. etc.

There is no doubt that it is time consuming. However, it will definitely put you above the rest of the rest.

It will eventually get like most other large industries. You can't compete unless you've got a lot of startup capital. For example, try to start your own phone comapny, or even just a wireless provider. See what I mean? The more you better yourself, the better others will have to be to compete.
