Thanks for participating. The nuts and buts of it is, I want to know if you were the consumer which site you'd remember the most.
Which of the following domain names are best for print advertising?

I voted for alledmontonhomes.ca because it gives the best idea of what the site is about and doesn't have hyphens. \:\)

I voted for team Johnson both times because it's the shortest and most easy to remember URL and because it's a .com

Typically easily remembered URLs are best.

I voted for the name with the .com . A consumer would most likely associate a domain ending with .com as having more credibility and longevity. It greatly helps too, to have a name that is easily remembered. If not, then you'd have to focus a lot into branding.

Good Luck,

I voted for www.realestate-edmonton.ca.
Why I voted for this one?
I have been studying internet marketing for about a year (I know that is not a lot of time) but I can tell that I have learned a lot.
Reason no. 1: Search engines like Hyphens
Reason no. 2: What is more general Homes or Real Estate?...I would say Real Estate.
Reason no. 3: I liked it.
What I did not like:
If you do a little research in the internet about internet marketing you will find many sites that would give tips for free...I do not remember where I found an article that said that if you are going to buy a domain TRY to get a .COM. WHY? people tend to remember it more easyly.
I hope this helps....regards,

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
