I am looking to put together a mission/vision statement for my website. Anybody want to help me get started I assume I want to research what exactly buyers/sellers want from a website.

Please share what you used

Yep.... I'm putting my website together from the template of http://sandiego-house.com I will have the MLS button (free search) right in the middle of the page. I got of the phone today with a guy in las vegas that has a val2 option available which will "kick" people out of the mls search after a certain number of searches and require them too fill out a guest book. He said it generates leads 50 times over. Anyhow I'm going to let them search unhibited while I use my Hotline to capture numbers. BRseminars has a new book- plug -in profits- that can help also. Let me know if you need any more info. Davidmote@bestrealty-billings.com

Michael,

If I was a prospective client, I would like to read more about you:

1. Might I suggest a series of "brag" pages which describe recent successes. You could create a page for each success that includes your client's situation, what you were asked to do, how you did it, and the results. (Obviously, I'm not suggesting you identity prior clients or disclose anything confidential.)

2. Post some short essays about your thoughts on real estate in an attempt to exhibit your expertise. Grab RE articles out of the local newspaper and analyze them for your readers. Maybe they will begin to resort to your website for further insight after reading an article in the newspaper.

Hope those help.
