Anybody have any luck offering their listings for sale on eBay? Or is it a waste of time and money. I seen these fancy eBay yard signs. eBay charges only 100.00 for 10 days of advertising. They don't charge a commission on real estate. It isn't the auction, it is just advertising. Anybody do this? You think it would be a waste of time and money? I would have to buy the eBay for sale yard sign too.

What's your goal. Sell your home. Find a qualified non psychotic buyer...Just kidding on that last one. What about the other details of the sale? What happens if the right buyer for your property isn't on ebay and if they are they are on holidays? Point is if there is a strong number of local buyers or your property doesn't have national or international appeal you will have spent a significant amount of money and energy for a short blast. Hey I have an idea. Give me the $100. and I'll advertise it on my site till its sold...Just kidding again. Good luck. If it works let me know.

The biggest thing that you need to realize about Ebay is that they are number 5 on the list of most searched websites online. I have some great tactics I am using with Ebay to utilize the free traffic that it brings in by just having an account. Shoot me an e-mail if you want to learn about some of my methods.

I put a 30 day listing on eBay last year, for $150 I think. I got a lot of traffic, lots of phone calls, and lots of email. I got 3 offers on the property. (they all fell through for various reasons)

I sold the property eventually, but not because of my eBay ad.

I would do it again, but I havent yet.

Good luck and let me know how it works for you.
