I agree, too much below the screen that has to be scrolled down to see. Those search items could be put on another page. The "Why work with us" should also be on another page.

Hope this is helps.

I think you have a wonderful website. There is a bit of scrolling that has to happen to get to the actual content and navigation. This could be corrected by a combination of things:

1) Reduce the size of the header area that contains the logo and contact details. The logo could probably be three-quarters the size it is now. Use the gradient image as a background and have your contact details as plain text. That way if a user needed larger font it would automatically resize.

2) Reduce the size of the "Find a Home" graphic. There is really no need for it to take up so much real estate (no pun intended). You could easily cut the size of that in half to make it a rectangle. In addition, find a brighter contrasting color for that graphic so that it stands out. This will bring more attention to the link as well as raise the navigation up some.

3) You could reduce the size of the flash animation showing the homes and scenery but I really think the size that it is is suitable. Buying a home is an emotional process and the wonderful pictures you have captures that emotion. As another poster said, it almost makes me want to move to Colorado.

Hope these ideas have been some help. Feel free to contact me or visit our website to ask any follow-up questions.

Have a great day!

Best,
Vernon

Looks great. I am a web designer with Twelve Seas Web Design and here's what I would suggest:

Under Colorado Buyers & Sellers the form doesn't go with the style of the website. Change the headings to match what the rest of the site looks like.

The Feature Listing page - The table you are using for all of the listings has a blue heading for each item. This doesn't look good, and doesn't reflect the style of the website.

On the About page, I thought the names were too close to the picture.

Either
and begin paragraphy on a new line or build it with 2 columns, have the picture on 1 side, the content on the other.

You can also set padding and margins on the paragraph to 10 pixels or several letters. That's if you're using CSS.

Padding is the space between the edge of the webpage table and whatever is inside of it.

Buy individual URLs for each of these pages and promote them heavily. Very attractive and too the point lead generation pages.
