Highland Park Dallas Real Estate

Lakewood Dallas Real Estate

M Street Dallas Real Estate

I have a few more neighborhoods to do similarly but they'll more or less be like these. I did these really late at night and I'm now questioning the sanity of my use of frames.

In case anyone cares "M Streets" is an area of town with mostly older tudor homes and it gets its name because most of the streets start with the letter M. It's become pretty hot lately and commands a 50% premium per square foot compared to surrounding areas mostly because of the charming homes.

I had a question before I offer feedback. What's your intended purpose for these websites? Is there is specific target audience or type of person you want to reach?

So far, they seem like buyer specific sites and the main purpose is for the buyer to search for homes in the Dallas area. There are some links to other Dallas websites, but I wouldn't see this as a relocation resource since so many other agents have eneighborhood reports, school reports, and detailed information on specific areas.

The idea is that I advertise the sites to buyers, buyer goes there and searches for homes and contacts me to arrange a showing or to get more information.

Soon I'll spruce up the sites with a "Contact me about any property or to feature your own home here" or something like that. It'll be a basic PHP Formmail script. Actually, I'll try to get that done this weekend.

Why couldn't you make one hub site with these as seperate sections then have those specific domains route to those areas of your site? This would interconnect them better. One other thing, those domain names are hideously long.

You should hire a graphic designer. White text on black background is hard on the eyes.

If I hire anyone it'll be a marketing consultant. For all I know "hard on the eyes" generates more and better leads. I'm out to get customers, not win design awards.

I have that also (hub site tying these and others together), and it has a more managable domain name.

The home in the picture on top of each page. That's relative to elite homes in Dallas area? I love it!!! But looks more Euro than TX.

Left side frame is cut off at bottom. Right below you address. Is a table not resizing? Is table size hardcoded in pixels?

Design awards are for multimedia companies who want flashy sites. Usability is for sites that want results.

Are you selling houses or the graphic on top? If houses, shrink the graphic, make more room for who you are.
The propensity for graphics causes the user to miss the "Search" button in the middle. It looks like a picture and not an action link.

A marketing consultant may help. I know copy in the site is not final, but much is redundant and wastes space.
Actually, white on black may not be hard to read. Search for latest feedback on this at google "web site usability".

Josh, I agree. Difficult to remember domain names. Phone companies used 7 numbers for a reason...

Onward to be flamed!!!

Seems like they need to be one site with a more memorable name. You can have the long name as long as it's not a direct navigation website.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
