I would strongly suggest NOT putting video on your home age... not everyone will have the bandwidth to download it quickly, and the last thing you'll want to do is turn off potential customers! Make the video page an OPTION for those who actually WANT to see it. No sense in putting up barriers for customers that aren't necessary.
As much as I love QuickTime (it's the best quality wise), you potentially also will lose customers because QT is not universal. It's better than it used to be (thanks to iTunes!), but do you really want a customer to have to go download a HUGE file in order to see your 3 minute video?
I use Flash (quality is not as good, but it's installed on 98% of all computers). You don't have to stream, you can use progressive streaming from a regular server.
You can see some samples here:
http://tinyurl.com/eg4xf The biggest problem is there is a lot of time involved in editing, voice overs, etc, and lighting is a big problem, although I am just learning how to deal with that and hopefully new tours will see a big improvement.
Video tours really are just coming into their own, due to new compression software and the increased use of broadband... I think it's definitely the wave of the future, although figuring out how to do it quickly and cheaply is currently my biggest obstacle!
