Do any of you know of any services that work with ARMLS (Arizona MLS) to send out automated emails to clients when a listing is put on MLS that matches there home search criteria? I am working on a website is I wanted to add this feature. I checked with Soar the one company I know that offers this feature but they said that ARMLS is one the few that won't work with them.

Do they have any IDX solutions? If so there should be someone who has already built a system that could patch in and run a query every day at a certain time. If they built it on the web server you could have a cron job run everyday at a certain time that would run the program (file) that excutes the query.

Didnt I see that point2agent.com had this feature also - called email notification - not sure how it works though.

Glad to see somebody else is interested in this. I have looked at pointe2agent.com and it looks like this feature is available with there websites. I am a new agent will propebly go with Point2agent for know but down the road I would definately like to have this feature.

I'm trying to develop my own custom web application for this particular problem. Give point2agent a shot and if that doesn't work out for you I might be able to help you out in the future.

Markelinx is your MLS vendor and I'm almost certain they offer this feature as a part of their MLS products.

I know they have an IDX solution available and that should have some sort of auto notification feature as well.

Tempo has the e-mail notification already in the system. You have to enter the new prospect, create a custom search based on your prospect needs and the system will send e-mail notifications whenever a new listing match your custom search. Notifications are sent once a day, usually early morning.

No additional costs, no headaches. Simple and easy.

Tarasoft has a good system too, and works very well with ARMLS. I think the cost is $299 for 2 years of updates.
