Ok.. obviously this is easy to do... BUT WHY? This is my first clarification from them EVER- and they want a description of a sign? What are they going for here? Are they trying to figure out the listing company and the agent? Im befuzzled...LOL

That's one of the craziest things I have ever heard! LOL!

One of my orders had an instruction to describe any signs in the yard...who knows.

I've had similar requests and had a rep from another company explain some of the things they could be looking for:

1: For Rent or room for rent (some loans require the property to be owner occupied)

2:FSBO or Assist2Sell type signs (where the property may be listed, but not always on the MLS)

3: Signs advertising a business or run out of the home

4: Signs or postings from the county, city etc. (Forced mow, water, electric turn off notices (Some tell tale indications of a deserted home)

Seems goofy, I agree, but it may differentiate some agents who actually view a property vs. those who don't (this doesn't really happen does it?).....

They shouldn't have to, the info should have been in the original report. If the home is listed, don't you think that's relevant? If it's a For Rent sign maybe that indicates the property is vacant or will likely be in the future. QC did a good job.

I thought it was a stupid request the first time I got the sign question in my orders. There were political signs in the yard, so I took a picture of them.

DUH i know its relevant thats it's listed! LOL - it WAS in the report. My question was about the "description of the sign" Come on, ighten up... If they want to know the listing company and agent.. then say that...Thats all.
You know Target, my partner and I have been doing this for quite some time- we aren't newbies. It's a shame we cant even post a legitimate question without being attacked.

They are possibly looking for the - "for sale by owner", I have had a few of these and they were FSBO's.
