Went to go do an interior. As I pulled up there was another car in the driveway. Turns out it was a lady who was there to give a trash out bid. Appears to be the wife of the owner of the company that rekeyed the property. Long story short whoever they sent out to rekey the place rekeyed the wrong house lol. What makes it really funny is the correct house had house numbers in plain view that were about a foot and a half tall. I bet someone is a little ticked lol. I called my company and told them I was going to need extra time on the bpo because they have to come back and rekey the correct house. What a day!
Great story! I heard an urban legend (I think it couldn't really have been true) about a keymaster who was dyslexic and would always get confused with 6s and 9s. Supposedly, he miskeyed a number of properties because of that.
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
