Any more news on this company? Anyone else worked for them?

I did 2 for them back in the middle June and haven't been paid yet...but they did say payment was 45 days so it's not quite due yet. Let you know when I get it.

The site says "state licensed apprasers" so I'm out.

It's weird, it has a link for Brokers & Appraisers sign up and then you click on it and it talks about licensed appraisers only. I'll e-mail them and find out.

There is a spot for agents, however, it is improperly linked and takes some manuevering to get to it. I think it is linked from the LOGIN page.

This company is not for appraisers only, I just turned in my first 2 BPOs for their company. Hopefully they'll be worthwhile...they were in-town and close so I took the risk. I've been lucky, gotten paid for all BPOs I've done over the years, but one company stiffed me for several months.

By the way, thank you to all who have posted in the past and future, the information is extremely helpful. This weekend I was able to confidently write an email to brokerpriceopinion.com that I would not be completing a requested BPO due to their 'reputation'. That was nice to know.

It took 90 days to pay me and I had to call on both orders (REM).

Well ditto from me. BEWARE I should have known something was up when they didn't ask for my W-9? I asked about it and was given an e-mail to send it to. Well I never got a response on the e-mail. Told the Rep by e-mail that I cannot accept any more orders until I can see payment for the intial BPO. Well I don't have time to chase companies around for payment. Guess I had to get my perfect record of paying companies burned sooner or later...BEWARE. Don't over extend to many BPO's until you get paid...

I have done several for them, but every time I need to follow up to get paid. There were two times they didn't pay meuntil they requested another order and I refused, citing lack of pay for the prior one. The forms are very easy, but the getting paid is iffy, so if you work for them, make sure you follow up and get paid.

What about listing with this company,got a email today about a BPO forever away but of course they dangled that it could be a listing in the future.But at the bottom of the email it said something about my name is on the bpo and the bank can see my contact info etc. anyone ever get a listing out of them?? I gave them an outrageous fee for the bpo,never heard back.. I like REO but I dont drive hours away for a new company

I've done a couple recently, they claim to pay within 45 days. It's not been long enough for me to see whether that's true or not.

Overall, I like their forms, and no one ever bothered me.

I did a BPO for them last week. Same thing - it hasn't been 45 days yet. After reading this forum I will make a note to start making calls for payment.

I've been accepting quite a few of these in the past couple of weeks and did a search to see if they pay.

And found a post from MYSELF saying I wasn't accepting anymore as they're not paying.

Wow! how dumb can I get! I'm just way too busy and need a much better system. Anyway, you guys getting paid or what?

Concepts - you made my day, what a laugh I had on that. Sounds like something I'd do.

According to my records, I did not get paid for the last BPO I did for REM, at the end of 2007.

Company does pay. You just have to tell them that you aren't doing anymore until you do get paid. I got payment for my outstanding bpos (9 of them) within a week after that.

You will make me pay closer attention now. Thanks for the heads up. I just looked and I'm due for a check anyday now. I did one on 3/9/08. I may not be accepting anymore either! I don't work for free as a rule.

These f8cks expect top level service without tipping. Time to shut them down.

UGHH....guess I'll have to call them on Monday.

I'm at the point where I won't accept BPO's if I have to chase them to get paid.
