I do on the average 25+ bpo's a week for about five good paying companies with a few little guys now/then.

I signed up with Ocwen and went thru their so called online/phone training class earlier this year. The site gave me a headache afterword! Never received anything, but after reading the frustration of others on this site about the navigation on the site, QC and language issues, I felt I was avoiding problems anyway.

All the sudden,last week I received four orders (2 local, 1 20 miles, 1 55 miles). I was too busy with other work to complete w/i 48 hrs and declined.

Question is: Is it worth doing work for them if given another chance? From what I've read, they cause a lot of headaches, but on the flip side, it can lead to a listing.

Their BPO form page takes a little getting used to but now I don't mind it at all. I'd give it a shot if I were you. I did get one listing from them. It was a cheapie but sold within a couple weeks. The BPOs are definitely worth doing for them and they will negotiate fees on occasion. As for listings, they can be a pain to get reimbursed for but they will reimburse, minus a fee if you get the reimbursement form submitted EXACTLY right. That was my biggest headache with them.

Does the reimbursement from ocwen is that done via direct deposit or do they send a check? also if it's a listing do they send it directly to your broker's account or a check?

Ocwen direct deposits reimbursements to bank accounts. They also deduct 2% from all invoices except utilities. They send paper checks for BPOs, but they do deduct from BPO payments also for "processing". They're makin' a killing off of paying their bills. But I still work for them. I have 5 ocwen listings right now. One asset manager is a PITA, but the rest are very good to work with.

They stiffed me for 2 trash outs and the utility bills for 2 properties. I got the run around about not submitting them properly on their web site or e-mail and so on. I will never work for them again!

How does one become VA and Fannie Mae approved

Wish me luck. I just did my first one for Ocwen, too. I had previously lost my first one while waiting for them to answer a question (yeah, forget about understanding anyone in tech help). Got the second one, figured What the hell? I just accepted it and went to try and figure out how to do it. Eventually realized, everytime you "save" it and come back, it scores you on what did... you're looking for a "pass" (Do a "prnt scrn" of the screen showing what's missing, and work off of that list. Once they give you a 100% pass, you've given them all they really want.) Pix attached fairly easy.. even the MLS sale comps pix ( I HATE that - comps now based on whether they posted a pic!). Oh yeah... don't forget to do their "mapping"! sheesh!! If your comp addresses are exact, they should show up easy, if not... keep correcting it untill every address - subject and all 6 comps, show up on their map. Piece 'a cake! ha ha ha (LOL)
Can't wait to see if I get paid now, too! Listing? Cool... maybe next life?
