I signed up with Transunion several months ago to do bpos, yet, I have not received one solicitation. Are they still a major player, and if so, how are they regarding work availability, and payment?

I have been doing bpos since April 2006; I have received at least 3 a week since I began with a high of 8 during one week. They pay regularly too, so it is nice "errand/gas" money when the check comes. For me they are a staple vendor.

Thanks, for the replies. I am wanting to replace Source One with another provider. I have had it with the extremely long forms and the low pay. Transunion sounds like a viable alternative.

I signed up with Transunion in January and just started getting orders last month. I've been getting 5-10 orders a week since then. Hang in there. I agree with everyone else here that their forms are easy and since they don't require pictures, you just drive by and look (I do take 1 picture just for my records). The pay is low, but it takes so much less time than the Source One $40 jobs that I'm sure I make more per hour doing the Transunion orders.

I agree with you, Transunion is great for bpos. I love their process and pay. I have noticed that some bpo companies are starting to lower their fees. For example I used to do bpos for MGIC and they WERE great, then they got someone new and I am no longer doing bpos for them. They are lowering their fees, expect quicker turn arounds and their technology isn't up to par.

I wouldn't do Transunion orders if I lived in a rural area. I don't think I've driven more than 10 miles to do 1 of their orders and they are usually on the way to another one I'm doing. If I had to drive a long distance, it would not be worth it.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
