Yes, you will have to use MF to handle FNMA assets. It is a FNMA requirement. And yes the insuarnce is a pain to revise, but worth it.

I signed up on their site quite some time ago and still havent received their new agent packet. What was the average timeframe on getting the packet mailed/e-mailed?
My broker has tons of E&O insurance so I doubt that will be an issue.
Any thoughts?

It took exactly a month but i was approved back in July and since then nothing. i think they got me lined up thinking they were going to have a lot of business in our area and then the new California foreclosure law kicked in and the bailout. good luck.

What does that mean??? FP has been sending me all the emails. How did your broker get involved. i know the broker needs to sign all the paperwork but my broker did not give them an email contact and i'm the one who paid for the additional $500 worth of insurance. How did FP even get in touch with your broker to send him/her these assets?

I dont understand how the broker could get your account. I finally got a couple of REO's from them. I am in total control. Has nothing to do with my broker, my broker does not know my log in or have any contact with them. they are easy to work for, almost too easy, there is a property mgmt co. that checks in to my properties to make sure I am visiting them...that I totally dont get why I am doing these weekly inspections and then this company is doing exactly the same thing....we will see how it goes.

I've seen that scenario happen many times and unfortunatley, this sometimes happen when the agent has a lot of bpos and listings coming in. You will find many brokers competing with the agents. Afterall, in most cases, the broker's detailed information is required with a lot of the BPO and REO companies I setup agents with as vendors.
Sad but true.

I am not trying to promote here, I just want to show that you can still get approved with this company even though they are saying they are not accepting new agents right now.
We just received a testimonial from an agent in San Jose that purchased our Bank of America contact list, started prospecting the Asset Managers, and in turn was approved with First Preston because BofA outsources to FP and BofA referred the agent. He had never listed an REO before this. He already has received several listings and even a $1.4 million dollar listing in only his first 2 months.
So you may have to get in through the back door like this guy did with BofA, but you can still get approved. This really goes for every AM company out there.

I just wonder how many AMs are around all that long? Everytime I turn around I have a new one contacting me, seems like there is an awful lot of turnover in the field.
