So, on fannie mae the listing agent gets the full 2.5%? On my paperwork the agreement for BOA and CHL doesn't state a specific amount but on the fannie mae it says 2.5%.

For those of you who have listings with First Preston... Roughly how long after you were given your access code/password to Home Tracker did it take you to start receiving assignments?

For those in GA and FL, just got an email from First Preston for an invitation to their seminars. Go to their website and click on Training Seminar for more info. smile

They don't really have too many listings on the West coast. At least in California, they maybe have 2 or 3 properties in 1 county for the hundreds of agents they have registered.

We may be going to that seminar.. after reading about those extra insurance requirments I'm going to have to check up on how much more that would cost. One listing sold will probably cover the extra insurance.. but getting a listing from them with all these agents signing up with their seminars is questionable??

Okay, it has been 2 weeks since I sent in this extensive package. I have not heard back from them at all.

I had all my ducks in line. The insurance was a breeze, my Broker had it in place. I feel fortunate to work for a company that only charges 5%, so if I would have had to pay a little for the insurance change that would have been fine, however, the insurance was no problem.

I phoned today to tell them I have heard nothing. The person on the other end was clueless, and had me email the broker div. I will call again tomorrow and see if I can get a more informed party.

Has anyone been contacted after returning the package and what was the contact??? I am not going to rush out and sign up for Bid Select, Realty.com, or Home Tracker, until I know exactly what I am looking at in expenses.

I am curious - any response from First preston after completing the application. It has been weeks, no response, nothing by phone when I call but generic answers and they tell me to email the broker dept. I have done that twice.

Its been months for me REOBIRD, called and left messages and NOTHING. Justine, insurance is not a biggie, my auto insurance rate only went up 30 dollars for 6 months.

They get over 100 application packages a day. As soon as they get your package, they log it in and start processing. Be patient, they will email or call you with your i.d.

They had a seminar here last month. I attended, as I was in the process of completing the packet already. Very informative meeting. We were told they really need agents. They are also rolling out a new pilot program here (South FL) that has to do with home retention/short sales and Freddie, and they are looking for agents to help with that as well.

I sent my packet certified mail so at least I know someone signed for it because I got no reponse to my email asking for status. I guess they'll get to it eventually. Hopefully no news is good news and the packet was complete!

I sent in my package and they wanted additional verbiage on the insurance forms. Once I sent those in, it took them about three days to get my passwords to me. It's been a week since that happened. No assignments yet.

Who signs the Preston's affidavit? Broker or Agent, we are debating on that.

Thanks,
