Why is it so hard to get orders from this company. Do you literally have to camp out at your computer all day to possibly get lucky for one order? Am I missing something with them? Thankyou for your input.

the good orders are usually snatched up and yes people keep hitting recheck on the site.Only the dogs that knowone accepts right away get e-mailed to agents. The site know lets you only check every 2 minutes but there is an easy fix for that,i just log out and log back in takes about 10 seconds and you can check again instead of waiting 2 minutes.

I do occasionally get good ones e-mailed to me but that is not the norm, each am company operates differently.cc for instance e-mails me the good stuff, eml it's hit and miss sometimes i will do 3 in one day for them other time a week goes by with nothing.

Set up your cell phone to alert you when you get new emails. Use the key word function of BPO, and everytime a bpo offer is sent to your email, your phone will alert you. Simple.

I had an e-mail. I didn't know that they sent to multi agents, it didn't say. Maybe they were just testing me out because I'm new to them? I rechecked on the site about 20 times a day for 3 days, but never anything in my area. Then I got the e-mail, so didn't ccheck the site today or yesterday more than 3/4 times.

When you get established, have a history, good/quick record, and a relationship with your primary rep, they will email you everytime a bpo in your area is availible. We do, and it works great. It's not an auto accept, but sure helps you out. My best advice is to get all of your bpo's done w/in a day or two max. EML is easy to work with, and their forms aren't that hard. Easy, Easy, money!!!!

I was getting tons of EML's and now have very few. I never got them by email tho, just through their website. I called EML to be sure that I wasn't on their "B" list for some reason and they told me I had a high rating so that wasn't the problem.

How do you establish a relationship with the rep if you never need to call them? Just call to check in? Once the reps were changed, that seemed to be when my orders dwindled.

As far as developing a relationship with a rep...I find reasons to call. It sounds ridiculous and stupid, but if I havent gotten an order in a day or two I will call and see if I can " offer my help". Sometimes I get work, but more importantly, when she has an interior or higher paying rush order HOPEFULLY she will think of us first because I schmooze. Actually our rep has a great personality, so it helps that I actually like talking to her. Eventually they just start sending them all to you through email. 2nd rep, they both did this.

I send a "chat" message to my rep about once a week, just so he knows my name.

It all depends on your rep. My old rep e-mailed me everything. I'd do about 10/week for them. My new rep sends me maybe 2-3/week at the most. I just periodically check their site now.

Ever since they changed over to only being to the 2 minute wait time, I havent gotten one BPO from them. Before that, I was getting about 15 a week. I miss them. They are one of my favorites. I could fly through their forms.

I just received an exterior BPO request for only $45 from EML via e-mail. Haha! No thanks. I responded to the "reason for decline" as fee too low!

Scott,
Their fees are posted on the website, and you asked how they were on this board last week, why would you even sign up if they are not good enough for you. By the way, if it matters to you, they add $10 if you get it done in 48 hours. I doubt many here will laugh with you, as I would be willing to bet EML is one of the favorite companies of the most people on this board. They pay like clockwork, forms are easy(except for one of them), very understanding and helpful staff and keep many here very happy.

Amplet, I agree. EML is a great company. It is a rare occasion that I only get $45 for an exterior from them. I think the bonus is pretty nice and at $55/each. Most companies only pay $50 for an exterior, so I think that $55 is great.

I guess I missed the reply about the $45 in my other post. I would be willing to work for that fee IF I was getting multiple orders on a regular basis. I guess I'm just spoiled with other companies paying $65+ for the same work.

I'll call them tomorrow and ask if they can give me some assurance that I'll get a lot of work from them. If so, the fee is justified IMO.

I just don't want to have to "hover" around the PC and "hope" to get $45-$55 work, when I am getting more without being tied to the PC.

As for the fast payment, I have no problem getting paid monthly, if they were to increase the fee to at least $65 (average for me on an exterior).

I can only do so many a week and the $$$ jobs get priority.

Thanks for the replies! I'll not write them off yet.

Scott, I've never known EML to negotiate their fees or give any assurance for work. If you're getting other orders for so much more money, I wouldn't bother either. I wouldn't waste your breath calling them for any assurances though. You won't get any. Unfortunately, most of my exterior orders are for $50. Once in a while I get more, but not often. It sounds like you've got some great companies that you are working with.
