Go to this link and tell me if you read it the same way I do. www.cingular.com

When it says Switch to Family talk

Get two lines from just $59.99.
Add up to two more lines for
just $9.99 each per month.

That means that for 59.99 you will get two lines. and if you wanted to add up to two more line making it 4. It would only cost you 9.99 a month? Right? If this is right I will switch from my old At&T plan. Which is only 59.99.

I just switched from At&T, only because my old phone died and I had to. My At&T was 29.99 per month, the new Cingular is 39.99 for one line. It is 59.99 for two lines, and 9.99 each for every additional line. Now I have less minutes for more money. New phone doesn't have as good reception and drops calls frequently. The gsm is not my favorite thing.

Actually Cingular aquired AT&T Wireless at the end of 2004. Around here, all the AT&T Wireless switched to Cingular shortly after that. It looks like they must still be seperate in some areas.

Yes AT&T is now Cingular, but those of us that had AT&T got to keep our plan. However, if you switch, upgrade phones, they require you to switch over to Cingular plans, which are more expensive and have less minutes. I really didn't have a choice, since Cingular is the only service out of all of them offered that really works in my area. We can get sprint, nextel, intelos, alltel, and several others, but they DON"T WORK, so i don't even know why they sell them.

I have Cingular. I have 5 lines on my account. My "main line" is $59.99 and then it's $9.99 for each additional, basic charge. Plus you can customize each line with web access, text messaging, etc.

Ky realtor I was kind of worried about the minutes thing myself. But even though you have less minutes to begin with. I think with the roll over minutes eventually it works out. I might switch over to Cingular. If not buy a phone tha is unlocked.
