Yes AT&T is now Cingular, but those of us that had AT&T got to keep our plan. However, if you switch, upgrade phones, they require you to switch over to Cingular plans, which are more expensive and have less minutes. I really didn't have a choice, since Cingular is the only service out of all of them offered that really works in my area. We can get sprint, nextel, intelos, alltel,and several others, but they DON"T WORK, so i don't even know why they sell them.
