I have been all over this board and read everything! Some people say they can login to BPO websites on a Blackberry/Treo/Q etc. and some say they can't!

I am mostly concerned with LandAM...

Can Anyone login to LandAm's website with any type of wireless phone and wireless service (that is not a laptop)and accept work??? Thanks!!!

The issue is with Mindbrix, which both EML and LandAm both use.

Mindbrix sites use frames. You can't access websites that use frames with a Blackberry.

Really? SOMEBODY did! Amplet seems to really know what he/she is talking about. Did you see the link above?

Amplet also said the he/she is able to accept the e-mails from Land Am and EML. That is exactly what I am looking to do.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge amplet!!!!!!

This is a copy/paste from his post:

"I have a Motorola Q, and have had 3 other PDA/Smart phones and have accepted hundreds of EML, HAMS, LandAm, and Safeguard orders on all of them by clicking the e-mail link."

I accept them from the link on the e-mail they send to me, not by logging into the site directly. You or I cannot log into Mindbrix sites directly from any device, except by using the a remote access program that I mentioned in my other post.

If you do not get e-mails for orders from them I suggest you ask them to send you e-mails, it is the easiest way. But from what others are saying, the links are dead on Blacberrys and Treo with Palm OS. But they do work with Windows PPC. I hope I cleared this up.

Yes, the remote access is what I am refering too (that there is a way to login).
I think I will start with a device that will allow me to accept the e-mails. If that is not enough, I am going to give the remote access a try. Thanks!

I set my preferences in my LA profile to text based e-mails. Not HTML. That way, I can just click on the accept or decline link within the message.

I receive an e-mail within about 10 seconds of it being sent. I actually performed a test a few months ago. I receive it approximately 1-2 minutes later on my desktop.

I use a T-Mobile Dash with Windows Mobile in conjunction with an exchange server.

On a side note:

We have gotten a lot more SPAM in the recent months. We are about to install a challenge filter on our system that will not allow any e-mails to get through that are not preapproved. It basically works like this:

1) E-mail is received from XYZ Company
2) E-mail address is checked against our filter
3) If preapproved, message is allowed to reach my phone.
4) If not preapproved, it is placed on hold and a challenge e-mail is sent to the original sender of the message and asks them to confirm their e-mail address and type in a special code that is displayed in the body of the message.

If they complete the challenge message, then they are placed in the approved list and all messages are now able to reach me. Most SPAM is sent out automated and it cannot complete a challenge e-mail.

We are adding the e-mail extensions for all the companies that we work with and it will weed out 99.9% of SPAM. Anyone that is not on our approved list will get sent to a special folder that is only checked once per day via a desktop in our office.

it depends what you're rating is. If an email from eml hits my phone, I will get 90% of them. If its from land am, then its 10%. I know I have a good rating, but theres people out with higher ones than me.

I agree with BPOBill. I use a Treo 700 with Windows Mobile and accept from the e-mail. My rating is the highest possible with EML and I get sent most with no e-mail - LA is different and if I get an e-mail, then I probably will not get the order. I spoke to LA the other day and they have added many new brokers but are also deactivating many due to poor service.
