Never heard of RelsValuation. It appears that they are for licensed appraiers only.

no they are not. You can register as an agent or broker. Most of the orders I got are for flood inspections, I was told it's about 200+

Would you PM me the link?

I can't seem to find anything other than questions/requirements for appraisers. No mention or option for real estate agents/brokers.

Thanks!

Shhhhh.... just go go go... they're prop inspections are the easiest on the block. And they give you a reasonable deadline... expand your area. Pics all day reports all night. Hell maybe I'll fly out and spend a week in a cheap motel ;\)

Hey Gary! I was kinda shocked when I asked how many, and he told it was due to the floods. I know the area very well and have family that has property in that region. When he told me 200+ I said send all you have! Yes they are property inspections, so I don't mind very easy to do, just get a system together and go! I'm renting a huge Dodge Ram 1500 to go around and take the pics. And Rels pays very fast!

GPS, if you don't have it already, buy one... well I guess if you know the area maybe you can do without. But even in areas I know well it helps me get a good route. I'd want a good system for identifying the pics too. I think my camera can ad a voice note to a pic, I've never used it...but taking that many I would.

Happy hunting!

I had a GPS system that I sold to another agent, since I now have a Blackberry with googlemaps on it...I sent the GPS system to her(in good faith thinking she would pay me) and the agent(theif) never sent me payment! What a crook she is! Plan on suing her...attorney working on it now, since it's out od State..

My "high tech" system for identifying the pics is:

I always take a "blank" photo in between properties. That way, I know that the blank photo is a separator. I just take a pic of the inside of my camera bag & it shows up dark. Works great for me. Of course, I have my list of properties pre-organized and in order prior to leaving the office.

I'll 2nd the GPS recommendation!!! I love mine and it makes it so much easier.

Good luck on the 200+!! Did they ask for a discount due to the volume or is it standard pay?

What about having your property addresses written on index cards. Then after taking all pics of the property, take a pic of the index card as a separator between properties.
I wonder if we'll get slammed with BPOs here if a nice big hurricane rolls through this year.

I use a Garmin Street Pilot C320 & love it!

The Tom Tom is also good.

I used to do it that way until I bought the BEST camera for doing bpo's the SONY FD MVC-FD75. You can buy one on ebay under $100. It uses floppy disk....So each property I shoot has its own labeled disk and I never have to resize because of its low quality under 1 mega pixel.

This camera is my hot tip for the week....spend a $100 you'll be glad you did.

I stand by my Garmin IQue3600 because it doubles as my Palm and it's pretty cheap. Functions great too. (P.S. Notice a trend here??? Garmin is the name in GPS and fish finders)

Thanks for the GPS recommendation. It's my next purchase. Gas is getting too expensive to just drive around!
