Please forgive me for what might come across to be a stupid question! I've searched the forums. Per diem means "per day" correct? I have someone buying something and they knew that if they were not going to be able to close by the specified date they will pay per diem. They wondered if it applies to weekends. I would imagine it would even though you couldn't close on those days anyway. please advise.

it includes the day they should have close, weekends & holidays.
