I have been told this is a wonderful product, but expensive.

Anyone know of a good store/site to buy from?

Thanks

Try edirect software. Prices are good. Here is a direct link: http://www.edirectsoftware.com/product.php?product_id=16161

Yes Ebay, you don't need the most current version. The MS Publisher 2000 version will be fine. There's one right now for $56 on Ebay Buy-it-now.

Publisher is great..I would also reccommend Adobe Pagemaker - it is a little easier to use and probably close to the same price.

Publisher was also included in Microsoft's Office Proffesional edition - there may be a version lurking somewhere on the computers you have access to at work.

A great place to try software out before you've bought it is www.download.com by Cnet - no spyware, reviews, and usually enough time to try out the software to make sure it really does what you want it to do.

It is a awesome program -
If you purchase it, I recommend that you get it on disk in case of a computer mishap. I also have PaperPort 10, it works great with Adobe 7 and you can do a lot with it.

I've bought software on eBay before and haven't had a problem. You do need to know that if you don't have the latest version of Publisher, you can't read files written in the newer version. This is only a problem if you are sharing files with others, but it has turned out to be a big problem at our office where I created a brochure about my market area which other agents wanted to use and the office has an older version of the software and therefore it can't be stored on the office server and printed out.
