Does anyone out there have Coast to Coast's website and or e-mail? I've received an order for an appraisal (yes, I'm an appraiser also) and I think I've seen that this is one of the do not pay companies. I wan't to double check before I accept the work? You can post here or e-mail me privately @ sbittiker@bellsouth.net

Thanks!

Also, any comments about payment or lack of is appreciated!

They operate the same according to an appraiser we have in our building... also very sub standard fees so you have a double whammy

I would strongly recommend avoiding them unless your desperate and willing to take the risk.

They only paid us after 4 guys showed up at their doorstep and would not leave with out the money. They paid at that point. Get paid up front if you work for them.

My broker was signed up with them, we got stiffed for several BPO's. So I decided to sign up myself. Got lots of emails, declined the first, left the other ones on the webiste unanswered (over a holiday weekend) then they called, I returned one call & explained to the voice mail that since I had signed up I heard they do not pay for the work they order, she would guarantee me I would get paid I would be happy to work with them. I also suggested she might should find a new job becuase she may be the next one they don't pay. Needless to say they cancelled my orders! I have serveral agent friends who are going to do the same. Waste their time & hopefully cause problems for them with their clients!

Maybe they only pay one individual in an area - (Just Kidding) Think of how much they save by not paying! Figure the # of Agents / Brokers all over the US that they stiff Xs by the # of BPOs. I am sure they are laughing all the way to the bank. Okay - who knows a good attorney? I see a class action here. (Again, Just Kidding).

The moment I began asking when I'd be paid they stopped sending orders. A lawsuit isn't a bad idea. I suspect the amount of monies owed to agents would bankrupt their company.

I received 2 bpo's from them last week. Read the posts here about no payment. I emailed them and told them they had a reputation of not paying and I couldn't afford to work for free. I received an email back saying they canceled the orders and said nothing else.
