Their attempt to get it quicker didn't stop yet - I received 2 more emails asking for it early as if it was suppose to be turned in then.

I know English may not be a first language for the sender, or I hope it is not, because if I really thought they were that obnoxious I would just tell them they had better find someone else to do them.

I do take time to respond to each request though and each time remind them that the time I take to stop work to respond to every one's questions in the end slows their receipt of the order in question.

The last reply I received from them simply stated: "Thank you. Will not disturb you again" which I take as a step in the right direction. smile

I think we've all been hit with the emails and phone calls. My approach, late last year, was this. I sent them an email expressing my concern about the harrassing emails and phone calls. I explained to them about the time I loose, each time I have to respond. I also made them aware that I've never been late on an order, and in most case's have completed with plenty of time to spare. I pointed out that any QC issues have been less than one half of a percent of orders received. I clearly stated, in the email, that their fee's are 10 to 20 percent below my norm. I fit their orders in, only if there's enough turn time, so as to fit it into my normal routine. I must have hit a nerve, as the phone calls and emails ceased.

They sent me an exterior about 10 days ago, 48 hour turn time, and $40 fee....I turned it down.......This week, they've been calling me direct, much longer turn times and higher fee's. Their forms are a cake walk......with their adjusted turn times and small increase in fees , we can still continue to do business. I think my statement, in my last email, may have worked. PLEASE, DON'T PLAY ME FOR STUPID.....blunt, but to the point.

Ok...just got a call from them with an exterior and negotiated a price increase from what they were offering. She said she would put it in my queue and send me a confirmation email.

30 minutes passed and still no email and nothing in my queue so I decided to call. I get "sorry we can't take your call at this time, if you would like to leave a message please hit 1"

I hit 1 and I get "sorry we can't take your call at this time, if you would like to leave a message please hit 1"

Ashton, where are you? I know it's you!

BM - they had a bird in the hand and probably went down the list until they found someone else that would work cheaper - the same thing has happened to me.

CM - The last few I have done for RRR have been without incident, 1 email on the last day reminding me it was due - no phone calls. Of course the pay stunk - and they still owe me 20 on an order I negotiated up and actually got, as they paid what they offered originally. My fault, pay was not addresses at all on the acceptance/assignment email and I did it anyway.

Ok update on this one. I finally reached the group overseas and after fumbling around for a few minutes she came back and said that order was canceled. Then she immediately followed up with, "we just got a bulk of orders and will be calling you if we have any in your area". Than she thanked me for calling? I guess I learned my lesson. Next time I will tell them I don't want them to hang up until it's in my email box!

This is actually a first for these guys as, Yes, the pay stinks but usually I don't have any problems at all. I do love their cheaper exterior where you only have to supply one photo. Like they are saving me so much work by that one photo that they should pay me less. Sad thing is I always give them front, street, address anyway cause it just doesn't feel right with the one.

Hey 'Matt', you're not alone - I learned here a long time ago to over deliver in photos - it cost nothing more - and I add an aerial tax photo too generally - especially for those properties that do not have an address number I can shoot.

Actually had a rep get mad at me for over delivering on photos - and she actually deleted them from the order before sending to the client. Unreal, like they would be mad with more photos of the property~

Ya, I include the tax auditor's photo that has the parcel # on the bottom of it for houses without numbers. Not everyone probably has that luxury but fortunately our county has all the photos online. Nobody has given me any grief about using that for address verification so far though.

Off the topic-do people remove the house numbers thinking that will delay foreclosure or something? Just seems like alot I've been doing lately have them removed.

I have wondered that myself - many times there are no numbers on the house or the mail box (bet the mailperson loves that)- sometimes you can see where they had been.

People have some crazy ideas about what will stall a foreclosure

Like the 1 today - not RRR but - 3/4 mile down a drive off a back road in a sparsely populated area of my county - I drove clear to the house on the drive - but without already having the Tax Aerial photo - I would have no idea which of the 3 properties was the subject. Like stated - the photo has the address, acreage, LRK, and Pin embedded or added on the photo.

I'm starting to see much more of the "missing numbers game". I had 3 this week, alone........I'm finding they're even painting over the painted curb numbers.....Usually, I research and map/plot prior to leaving my office.....When I get slammed with orders, and don't have the time to do my homework, that's when I get burned....never fails.

Even using the assessor's photos isn't a foolproof way to identify a property. I did a SFR a few days ago...the assessor had a photo of an auto repair garage. Luckily, I didn't need help identifying the property!

I received a similar, but much more friendly note from one of my favorite clients requesting that I upload ONLY the photos that are requested. She stated that they must remove any additional photos before forwarding the completed order.

I had one yesterday with the number 623. Well the 6 and 2 were missing but the outline was faintly visible in the photo.

Got QC quickly, so I emailed the cube dweller two old MLS printouts that actually showed the same house.

Sometimes I feel like I'm dealing with 8 year olds, or 80 year olds with fading vision.
