A newbee here. I found this site quite by accident, but I have spent the better part of the last several hours reading all the topics and responses. Very informative.

After 10 years of being a broker/associate and working for someone else (albeit, making very good money), I'm striking out and forming my own company.

For years, I have been contacted by other brokers looking for someone in north Florida to do BPO's, lock changes, evictions, trash removal, take photos, etc., and getting but a small stipend for doing these things. Since there are very few people doing Mortgage Field Services or BPO's in the Tallahassee area, I started my own company.

I had the idea of contacting various lenders and letting them know of my availability, but it appears to me (after reading this informative message board), that you folks do mainly BPO's through various AM companies, rather than working for lenders directly. Is that a correct assumption?

Other than IAS, Clear Capital, Source One, Land America, and E-Mortgage Logic, are there other AM companies I need to register with? Not only do I perform BPO's, I also contract for various Mortgage Field Services.

If you ever have a need for such service in the north Florida area (Tallahassee), please let me know. I'd love to work with you.

You folks are a wealth of information, and I learned more in the last two hours about BPO's, etc, than I learned in 3 entire days spent talking on the telephone.
