I have signed up with or contacted 50+ bpo/reo/asset companies. I am still only averaging 5-10 bpo requests per month.
1) I am taking into consideration that it can take a couple of months before you get work, but jeez, I signed up with some of these companies months ago.
2) I have also done followups with these companies, just to make sure that I am in their systems, and still nothing.
Am I missing something or is it just the area that I live in? Are any of you that work on the west coast noticing a lack of bpo work?

I am in Los Angeles and I am turning work away.

It seems that if you have a good turnaroudn time, the companies will swamp you if you let them or try to get you to do rushes on a Normal turnaround time. I am saying "no." Give me more time or more money. they say "no" and they still send me work.

I only began doing these bpos on 4/26/2006 and I am amazed and grateful for how busy I am. I didn't even know what a bpo was on 4/23 or 4/24/2006.

I'm a native San Diegan, I wonder if I need to move back just to get some work? lol. Are there any certain companies that you get most of your work from? (feel free to pm me).I have tried to sign up with as many companies that service the west coast as possible, but I wonder if I am not signing up with the right ones....
