OCWEN problem

I took the OCWEN RealTrans training over a month and a half ago and I have had several calls from them lately saying I hadn't taken the training and I assured them I had and described it's boringness in detail. They each assured me they'd take care of getting my account activated, but since I haven't had any orders I'm not paranoid it hasn't been activated. Does someone have the # to a reliable rep there with extension number and name that I can call? If so, can you email it to me or message me on the board?
Thanks!
Marty Martin

Hi Marty
I have had the same problem. I took my over the phone training on Wednesday 6/21 and I must have received about 6-8 phonr calls, just like you. What I did on Friday 6/30 is sent them an email that shows the date and time I took their training.
The Realtrans number I have is: 800-804-9496. When I tried it on Friday 6/30; I got no pick up, no answering machine or voicemail. That is why I emailed them.
Is this what dealing with Ocwen is about? Dealing with incompetence at this level andI have not submitted a bpo or had an reo listing assigned. If so, I say no thank you.
I will try the phone number again on Wednesday 7/5; just to find out when I will get an order. But I am very cautious.
I am a newbie and so far, I have no problems with any of the companies, even the low paying ones because at least they pay.

Be patient, I had the same problem. You'll get your codes but it took 6 MONTHS! to get my first BPO order. There are so many agents signed up in my area that you go to the back of the line. The more agents they have in your area, the longer it's going to take you to get your first BPO. It's been 11 months since I signed up & took the real trans training & I just got my first REO Assignment.

Hey Pappa Lou! First off, if you took their training, you know the ONLY way to really communicate with them is in Farsi (the language in Inidia?). That "clipped British English" just don't cut it with us Damn Yankees and Good Ole Boys. I sat through it for an hour and a half.. didn't understand a damned thing... but, no problem... you won't get work from them for quite a few months, anyways! By the time you do, you will have forgotten everything that you probably didn't understand when they taught it. Ok, no problem (I thought) I'll figure it out with my native American intelligence (like I do a lot of stuff on the web). Problem is, seems to me that whoever made that program (RealTRANS, or whatever) probably farmed that out to India, too! I started off thinking that Ocwen was one of the more difficult ones... I remember getting my first emails response to a tech question after they already Cancelled my first order since I didn't accept it in time. Gee, like was I supposed to accept my first answer without knowing what I was doing? Apparently, yes! But there is one very bright side to working with Ocwen... I coulda sworn I got their check moments after I emailed my report to them. DAMN, that made everything almost worthwhile. So, keep calling... wait for the work to start coming in, ACCEPT it right away, and worry about understanding it, later! You'll probably slog through their forms - but at least it always tells you what you're missing! You'll get through it, I'm sure. I still can't beieve I got paid within a few days! Why can't they ALL do that? Good luck!

I've never gone through their training yet, but they have sent me 3 orders. I did not accept one (fee too low to drive 50 miles one-way), another got cancelled because the address was no good (PO Box # for address), and the other got cancelled because they couldn't get me enough info to find the property (owner has several parcels, all with same mailing address, so I needed the legal), and after 4 days of waiting for it, they cancelled. I just have a problem that the VA farms out REOs from OUR Vets to another country...

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
