Hi all,

I've been working in real estate on the Broker and Appraisal side. I saw there was a Director of New Business Investor Relations job at a RE Investment LLC.

I was wondering for a job like that, what would be the expectations of how much investment money we need to be bringing in on a monthly or yearly basis? In other words, what would be an (approx) quota? And is the commission generally 1% or less?

If you have any suggestions as to where to find this out on the web, please send it my way as well.

Many thanks!

Sounds like it's more of a Customer Relations function than some kind of Sales Production activity.

Why not call them up and ask ?

If the job is at a firm like you asked about in your PM, then I would say, as a guess, that the required background would be more about securities and less about real estate. The firm you asked about was marketing to accredited investors. Go find out what that means and you will have a better sense of what the job will entail.
