I work with SEO for my blog posts and for building my list. From an SEO standpoint having likes and twitter followers will help your website or certain pages of your website to rank in search engines. Social signals are among the most important factors to getting rankings.

As far as having these people to actually market to, a list of followers that don't really care about your product or service will do you no good.

I would be cautious of any automated service. Look for reviews on the service you want to try, see what others are saying.

Bottom line, if you want rankings then a social list helps but if you want real people that will interact with your service then you need to do it the old fashion way.

The best practice that I know to naturally build Facebook/twitter followers is to post non-business posts the majority of the time. Get all your family and friends to friend your business Facebook and Twitter account and then post things they can like or share. I got ideas from www.realestatelicensinginfo.com. Only post about business about 10% of the time everything else should be useful information. School closings, plays, sporting events, or fundraisers. Relevant to your family, friends and market so they will share it.

Do you have something to back this up? I have never seen any proof of what you are saying. In Fact, the evidence shows otherwise.

Buying fans/followers likely won't ever give you any direct leads/sales, but it can help convert potential leads. Someone who sees a company that has 1,000 fans is probably more likely to buy from that company than the same exact company with 15 fans.

Yes you'r right ottawarealestate, but if your page with 1000 post just their flat, no comment, no share, no star...

You just look like a death page how ever you have more (fake) followers than your competitor

If you only want to have thousand of likes and not a prospect then you can use that auto followers/likes or you can buy that $5.00/ thousand of likes in fiverr. But if you are a Realtor, i don't want to recommend this because this kind of strategy will never help you sell as most of your likes/followers are fake profiles. No use at all!

Do auto created Twitter and Facebook followers buy homes? No, not ever. The best tip I've run across lately is to avoid Real Estate altogether on your Social Media. Instead find new followers by looking into current events, and trying to find popular activities in your area that have followers that you can get involved with in non-realty discussion. This way you build a real community of followers who appreciate what you're posting. A great way to lose followers is to inundate them with Real Estate specific postings. Your clients don't live and breathe realty; only Realtors do that!

Likes will be garbage because of Facebooks algorithm. Plus you'll do way better with 1000 true followers than 10,000 fake followers. interaction and click-through are all that matters. High numbers not so much

fake followers mean fake audience. Its better to find a legit audience because its like you are doing marketing to a ghost.

If you want to get legit Twitter followers you can launch a Twitter Followers campaign which will put you in the Who To Follow section of the platform.

I couldn't agree with you more on this. There are some businesses who invest on fake "likes/followers", which is to drive popularity, a business move indeed which we can't blame them for. In some way, it does help, but for results, well, does someone have any statistics?
