Does anybody know how to access property tax records in Ontario of a street or condo bldg.? In Hamilton https://www.hamilton.ca/home-property-and-development/property-taxes/property-inquiryotherwise go to GeoWarehouse to get assessed value and city/town website for tax rate if assessed value is $700,000 at a rate of 0.8%, the tax would be $5,600 per year

thank you sualk, But I was not trying to figure out the property tax amount, but to find the owners of vacant properties or tenanted/non-owner occupied. And I wanted to scan thru a list of the entire condo bldg. looking for the owners. any thoughts?

But you will need a script to ask leads for their addresses! Once I have a lead, “what is your address?” Has been a great script haha

First neighbourhood cold contact on Monday, preview house Tuesday, market evaluation Wednesday (today), hitting the market Thursday (tomorrow) for $1.24m
I’m loving these mortgage qualification rules coming effective Jan 1.. pushing sellers to get on the market before then and stopping their procrastination. This is the third million dollar listing from cold calling I’ve taken in the last month because of these rules.

Changes to the way that Buyers qualify for Canadian mortgages, they now need to qualify at posted vs actual interest rate, means they qualify for lower purchase price, see link https://www.theglobeandmail.com/real-est...rticle37190155/

Actually that is not correct. They need to qualify 2% above their contract rate or posted rate...whichever is greater. Typically it’s 2%.

Yes, I’ve had a phenomenal last quarter. Almost $200,000 written. I don’t feel it has anything to do with the mortgage rule changes that are coming. I think it’s simply pent up demand caused by the slow down from May to August. And I also feel the fence sitters will be jumping off the fence next spring.

Thanks for the amazing info on this thread. I am in Saskatchewan and wanted to sign up for the Telelisting.net service
But to get access to the DNCL will cost me $3000! as an individual user. That was kinda scary...
My brokerage doesn't have a subscription to the DNCL, so I'm hooped.
To the Canadians on the list (Leafs and Mr Clean), any advice on how to get access to the DNCL through telelisting? Do they offer this?
Any help greatly appreciated.
