Stu ? 100?? Boy.. "Hope springs eternal in the heart of the entrepreneur!" My condolences. After I applied and found out about their $225 charge with NO fee... I told them to forget it. Then a few months later I get an email from a nice young lady, asking me in a nice, folksy manner if I'd like to do a BPO for them. I had applied to so many companies, I forgot who the bad ones were, and replied that, Sure, be happy to! When I went to their website and saw that they were Res.Net, I quickly emailed her and told her that no way would I pay THEM $225 to do a FREE bpo.
Even with OCWEN, where they wanted us to pay RealTrans (or somebody like that) $3 for using their website to submit our $50 BPO's, I told them to forget it, too. But they told me to just adjust the BPO fee to $53 then. OK.. sounded easy enough. Now, however, it seems like I never even got charged the $3 for their submitting service. Nice? huh? Well, not exactly, now I feel like I probably left some MORE money on the table when I just asked for $3 more. Sheeesh.. Working for some of these companies is like trying to buy a used car! You never know if you got the best deal possible.
Oh well.
