I'm looking to move to a different state for personal reasons within the next 6 months or so. I've got a short list of companies that I could work for in my industry and I feel pretty confident about landing a job with one of them.
My issue is how to handle selling my townhouse. Should I put it on the market now? If it sells soon, I do have friends I could stay with short-term. Or should I try to wait and see if one of these potential employers will offer to buy it?
I'm currently living in Houston, TX and plan on renting in the new city if that helps.
Loc: Old Dominion
I would interview 2 or 3 of the better list agents in your area. Tell them clearly your situation. The best agent will not pressure you to sell it right away but will tell you the pros and cons of selling now versus selling later. They will arm you with facts to earn your business instead of twisting your arm to list right now.

I can't. I'm going camping.
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
