I need a new camera both for bpo and interior listing shots. I can't stand using my phone and having to email the pics to myself - too time consuming. I have a Nikon D40 but now, at 6mp it's too outdated. I want DSLR that is small and light - don't want to have something flashy, but want to get a wide angle lens eventually for interior shots. I need something I can edit the pix on the camera and that takes the pix FAST. I can use the phone for backup. We all know how important it is to have that extra camera card and backup in the car!! Ideas?

LND -- I'm sure that you have solved your camera issue by now, so I respond for anyone else that may be shopping.

I have used Canon PowerShot cameras since 2002. They are reliable, inexpensive and the picture quality is excellent. I either buy from Newegg.com or from Wal-mart, depending on price.

For editing, I use MS Windows Photo Viewer. It allows fast cropping, resizing and renaming.

Also, I don't save any photos inside any proprietary software program that comes with the camera; I did that in the beginning and the program became unworkable, which cost about a bazillion hours of work to recover the photos.

Everyone else will have different opinions, but this has worked for me.

I agree... you can't go wrong with the cannon power shot cameras. Mine crapped out last week after about 5 years and I bought a Sony and returned it the next day. The focus was awful and it was slow to zoom. The power shot is wide with a speedy zoom which is important for those address shots.

No kidding on those address shots...those will make you old before your time. I got so I don't even stop the car by lining everything up through the viewfinder screen in the back of the camera.
