Hello I have a question for the management and brokers, I recently went into a management agreement with a company in the state of Georgia to manage residential property with specific instructions on the type of prospective tenant (No major criminal history no section 8)! Not only did they rent my property to a woman who has a felony in the first degree for forgery, they signed into the lease agreement without my authority and refused to tell me the name of the tenant that was placed in my property, but the tenant new who the owner was because they solely put my name on the lease contract and signed on my behalf. After addressing the issue with the management company there response was, "we do background checks on all tenants, and the tenant in question has no criminal history, there is actually a mugshot of the tenant with the charge in the online judicial system for Georgia also the tenant admitted already to being the person in the mugshot. After reading through the management contract no were does it state the broker management can sign a lease agreement on my behalf nor does it state that within the ethics of the Georgia Board of Commissions, that a management company has only management duties disbursing funds, repairs etc..... the contract was written up as a management agreement but had commission board ethics left out of the contract as if I would be giving them power of attorney. NEED ADVICE FROM PROFESSIONAL BROKER MANAGEMENT COMPANY THAT PRACTICE WITH FULL MORALS VALUES AND INTEGRITY BECAUSE I KNOW GOOD PEOPLE STILL EXIST THANKS!
