I am sick and tired of being asked to do background checks to do BPOs and REO properties. The same company Sterling/REVAA asking for background checks. They will not send the last background check I paid in the last month they want a new one. Sterling had the nerve to tell me different companies ask for different things. We are not working for the CIA or the FBI.

I agree. I just got a request from SAM to pay $50 for a background check, after they reduced the fee from $50 to $40. Ridiculous.

My solution is when a company you already do work for says they want a bg check to just ignore them. They will continue to give you work as they have done with me. Either that or tell them no.
Lots of agents I know refuse to do the checks and still get work.

That's the case with PT. They pay a whopping $37 for drive bys in my market and a whole $51 for interiors. They still give me offers after asking me for two years for a BG check. Screw them, and Sterling for that matter !!!!!
