If your client says to accept an offer, would you ever try to negotiate for more with out her knowledge? My client said to give 1000 for repairs. My partner says we should tell the buyers 500 because he thinks we can get it. What are your thoughts?

What would you do if that killed an otherwise viable deal ?

I'd clear this new starting point with the Seller first.

No way.

Always get the sellers permission. Explain to them you'd like to come back at $500 and explain the "why" you think the buyers will take it.
