I'd re-acquaint myself with the Terms and Conditions of the original Contract you had with the Builder and see if you didn't already agree to allow him to use representations of what he built for you in his future advertisements.
If there's nothing worded there, granting such Authorization, then I'd have my Attorney review the Documents and evaluate whether my rights had been violated under your Provincial Laws.
You may be entitled to some form of compensation. Meanwhile, I doubt that the value of your house will have suffered; indeed, consider it a compliment . . . . as long as it doesn't become an annoyance.
