Hello Guys,

I am new to the forums, I am a realtor in Calgary, AB, Canada. My wordpress website is being built and its at a stage where I have to get IDX integrated. I don't have much experience in this topic so I wanted to ask my fellow realtors here which IDX service they would recommend. Thank You

I'm not much of an authority on the way Real Estate is organized among the Canadian Provinces . . . . but I think you'll find that you are going to be limited to the IDX data feed(s) provided by MLS Services that you subscribe to (through your Broker) in Alberta.

If that's just one local MLS, then the choice will be simple.

The one from the most relevant MLS in your area. If there are multiple, see what the different offerings and possible costs are for each one

Then call the Multiple Listing Service that you subscribe to and ask them how to purchase the IDX Feed.

my experience has been that both are limited in one way or the other, but I think I would prefer IDXBroker. At least with their product, it's built for WordPress and it's not very hard to integrate, but every time you update your website, you have to go back into their plugin and update your IDXBroker account, so that the listings pages match your new design, because all of the listings aren't actually on your domain, they'll be hosted on a subdomain.

If possible, I would recommend finding a vendor that allows all of the listings to be hosted on your domain, so that your website will get credit for all of that content.

I have used IDX broker on a couple sites. Overall pretty good, but make sure you have your own CRM. Can't really beat the price.

Currently using Wolfnet but not happy with it. Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternate IDX that works with Wordpress?
