I have been asked a few times now on what practices some sellers use to find buyers for properties that go north of most often 5 million USD.
Here are some notes I took on the way.
Know that you are now selling not only a property buy a place to park money in. The reasons for the purchase are not always emotional anymore. Quite often representatives are being sent to inspect the property, not really the buyer themselves.
Create a separate website all dedicated towards that single property. All the information should be found on the site including videos, the history of the property etc etc...
In order to reach out to more people try and organize open house bidding events and make them exclusive, either by limiting the time or by inviting certain groups of people only.
Make sure that along with the property all different services are provided too such as all year around property management and maintenance and what not.Some buyers are simply looking to preserve the value of the house that way.
