To: LandSafe BPO Providers

Re: LandSafe Appraisal Divesture

Bank of America has reached an agreement to sell its LandSafe Appraisal business to CoreLogic Solutions LLC. The sale of these operations is consistent with Bank of America’s strategies to simplify and streamline the company, focusing bank-owned businesses on operations that provide services directly to consumers. Anticipated closing date is September 30, 2015.

At the close of the transaction, CoreLogic will become a vendor supplying appraisal services to Bank of America. All domestic employees within LandSafe Appraisal are expected to transition to CoreLogic. By retaining the LandSafe Appraisal employees as part of the sale, CoreLogic will be able to ensure a seamless transition and continued support to the current LandSafe business partners. This includes managing to the current high service level expectations and continued partnership with the originations and servicing business on customer solutions.

Any operational changes or other impact to you as a Bank of America service provider will be communicated to you in the coming weeks.

So the fees and the lead times will be cut in half and back to crappy Sourcenet

So, Core Logic sold its valuation business to MCS and is now acquiring Landsafe's Appraisal [including BPO] business. I guess that is why these types of $70 million transaction decisions are above my pay grade.

Probably why the Landsafe BPO work has dried up in the past 60 days. ?

They've been near dead for me for a year and a half anymore. Used to be my biggest player. Not even sure I'll miss them. With having to make our own map, having to put all the comp prior list data down and having to deal with the occasional audit review I'm about sick of them too. Good luck and good bye.

It's dead here too with BOA? I heard they are going to continue to use Inspection port, just a different name. Only time will tell.

I agree. In Illinois, they pay me the most and they gave me the most amount of work - MEGA work - and it has been drastically reduced since they announced Core Logic!

Anyone having issues with their macros in inspectionport? I redid mine since they changed the form but they still will not work. Looks like I am typing the whole form every time again.

I had a bpo fee from almost 8 months ago. I had to pay up since a new order came in two days ago.

Edit: Just noticed this thread is OLD. But it looks like there are still orders trickling down on Inpsection port.

nope. No fees. I got canned like many good agents back in early 2015 after Landsafe switched to inspection Port. I was in their top 98% in the area for 8yrs, and was at my 5 order max 24/7. Made a good $40k off of them when they canned me for 2 reports that were nightmares - one was a 10,000sqft mansion on 4acres in the middle of San Francisco. Then bitched that there were no sales within 6mths when I told them this was like comping Hearst Castle and needed an appraisal. They told me to "do my best job". I did and they rejected the order. The next was a building with 4 condos, owned by the same person. they wanted me to find 6 comps all owned by the same person, condos in the same 4 unit building. I said that was impossible. I got 3 out of 6 and used the best I could find for the rest. rejected. those lowered my score due to their automation requirements, which weren't an issue when it was just Countrywide. I lost a $40k, 8yr client in one month. I appealed and not denied, like every agent at that time. I stopped my IP fees immediately. Still outstanding, no late fees.
