1. Do you own a vacuum cleaner? If so, how often do you vacuum.
2. Do you own a handgun? If so, please describe.

Also, they ask for social security numbers of every occupant including children. Why is that necessary, since the SSN would be to check credit only. Is an 8 years delinquient on milk money at the school?

Wow! That's a first for me. I guess they want to know if you clean. Obviously, if you have a weapon, they want to know what type incase it's used to kill someone on premise. This question may be strange, but I find that it makes sense.

Now, with needing the SSN of all occupants including children is a little too much but I guess they need to know EVERYONE who will be staying at the property for security reasons or incase they need to pursue a judgment in the far future. Who knows?

How many rentals does this property management company handle? Are those rentals properties owned by others rather than the property management company? Does the state permit unlicensed property management companies that handle other owners properties?

If they are asking about guns, why are they not asking about explosives? Drugs? Knives? Prostitution?

Not going to lie, that's bizarre! But I've heard equally strange ones.

That is definitely not questions I have heard before. We don't ask about their vacuum nor guns.

As far as the children's social security number....I don't get that either. There is absolutely no reason to collect a SS# for a minor under 18 years of age.

The bigger question is...are they legally managing property? If there are unlicensed in your state, is that really allowed? I would be very leary of working with them. You can do research on the department of real estate for your state and find out if the company is required to have their license or not.
