Know what they are?

Know How to use them?
They are free online and will extend your advertising dollars by redirecting inquires by smart phone to your most recent Featured listings.

Here is a guy who shows you how they do it,

http://www.youtube.com/DWqrcodes#p/u

Make them reusable instead of having them provided by "corporate" Then they control where that lead goes.

Get involved in your business.

I think you are going to see qr codes everywhere in the near future. I bet we will be annoyed when we are shopping in a store and can't find a price or a code.

The mobile technology is upon us now in full force. I think we either adapt or get left behind.

My 2 cents

We'll see.

I just went through the latest issue of maxim and only found 1 or 2 codes in all of those ads. This magazine is geared towards males 18-35 years old which represents the most concentrated group of tech and gadget buyers in the country.

If these advertisers don't see the benefits then real estate is not ready yet to get on board.

Once I learned about QR codes I started to see them every where. That being said I really don't find them all that useful yet. If I want to check out a QR code in an ad, I find that it is a lot more difficult to use the QR code then to just type in the address.

From a real estate point of view QR codes on signs are useless in my opinion, who wants to get out of there car, walk up to the sign to access the QR code. It would be much easier to just type in www.399foyston.info

I once conducted a survey on this issue and the reason why people refused to read the QR Code is that they are afraid their phone will be infected with virus.

The truth of the mater is QR codes are a great idea... but way behind the current technology. Currently we have the tech in place to send our listings directly to the people that want them before they know they want them. Historically consumers do not act they react, just wait and see the tools the become available to us in the 12 to 18 months.

I think that QR codes may be a good addition to your marketing package...but not necessary in all cases.

I have a QR tag on my web riders. Easy to do, send people to a 'featured listings' page that automatically has all my listings. I don't bother tracking it however, but my guess is its hardly used, but being that it's automatic after setting it up a few years ago, who cares.

I have a QR code on the back of my car. Goes to my home page. I'm not sure if it brings any real traffic or potential leads but at least it looks like I'm up to date with Technology. My marketing team is working on a way to integrate the codes into marketing campaigns, so that it has a specific use.
