I've done some searching on the sight about this and I've gotten some good information but I'm going to ask the question again since some time has past.

I want my BPO business to be more efficient and therefore am looking at these new devices like the TREO, Blackberry, Smartphones, etc. My main concern with these phones is being able to access the sites to retrieve orders like EML, HAMS, SAMS, CC, etc. Are the products that you are using able to access these sites with ease or are they effecient, reasonably fast, and have few "freezing" or "crashing" problems?

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

BPR PRO I have not sceen any real smart phone or blackberry types that works with BPO sites. What I do is I have a PDA that has WIFI and bluetooth capibilities. That works pretty good. With WIFI I find most McDonalds and Hotels I just pull in the parking lot connect and I am in. When I can not find a WiFI connection I connect via bluetooth with my cell but that is extremly slow. But hey it works.

I have a verizon PDA. It uses windows mobile. Some of the web sites like, EML, Harbor, LandAm and some others don't work with windows mobile. I can't tell you how much that stinks. I have been successful getting many orders having it though. Most orders, you can accept via the e-mail requests so that's how I usually do it with my PDA. I'd never go without it now. It has definitely paid for itself. I pay for the internet access with it and usually it goes through a dial up connection although it can use WI FI if I'm in the right spot. I also added a GPS with it that I use almost daily. I rarely mapquest directions anymore. That also saves me time.

Makin' Money, could you email me the specs on the device that you use. I previously received instant notification alerts on my cell phone when I received an email in my inbox(hotmail). However, this no longer works for some reason, and I am missing orders, so I have been trying to decide if I'm going to buy a new cellphone, laptop, or PDA. Also, can anyone recommend an email service that has the technical ability to send a text, or SMS message to a wireless device when an email is received in the inbox?
