Ok- besides the fact that this is a misplaced post, I have a couple of concerns with foreign investment posts that we occasionally see.
Property rights- property rights are different in each country. How do we know that a foreigner's origininal investment will be protected?
Insurance(s)- title insurance, property insurance, etc. Can a foreigner be properly insured? How envasive is the gov't in insurance matters?
Financing- There is almost always additional considerations for foreigners when financing.
Distance- This is half way around the world. It's not like most investors will go there even once per year. There are plenty of safe, lucrative investments for US residents.
Appreciation- There is absolutely no benchmark we can work from. Turkey is closer to unstable regions than we are, so the yield would have to be astronomical to justify the risk.
