I have been using HostExcellence for few years. They used to offer free domain registration every year, but now only the first year of registration. But overall they r ok, don't expect good customer service though.

Stay away from Godaddy, their sites take forever to load. I use Hostgater.

I also think Hostgator is the best and I've tried several hosting providers (including Godaddy).

1&1 is good for domain and hosting. Cheap and much faster than Godaddy

Godaddy is slow, unreliable and yeah that pretty much speaks for itself. If your designing a website or getting SEO services then you're website is likely to be hosted for free by that company. Otherwise I would recommend using: 1&1 hosting, Justhost.com or Hostgator. Hope that helps influence someone to get off Godaddy

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
