Hi Everyone, Just looking for a little information. If any of you have a person who helps you take pics, what do you pay them? Do you pay mileage? If so how much? Any information is appreciated.

Be careful doing this.. most companies require the agent to see the property themselves, in person. I'm not comfortable sending someone else to take the photo and then putting my name on the BPO. Things can be left out of photos like detached garages, additions, etc.

What are you going to do when the bpo form has the statement "I personally inspected this property"? How do you know that your photo taker didn't take a picture of the wrong house? I feel more comfortable visiting the site myself. That's what we are expected to do.

That's what we are contracted to do. Look at mls photos where the house looks really nice, but you get there and it's a dump. Photos do not show all the details you see when you are there personally, like the nasty neighborhood, or other factors. Having someone else do half your job is dishonest, unethical, and results in a poorer quality of work.

Just wanted to say I was only thinking about hiring a photo taker since I have heard that is how some of the persons who get a large amount of orders do it, how else could they? I know of agents who are making 4000-5000 or more a month, I don't see how they could complete this volume without some kind of help.

Yes, sevendrw, you are right. No one person could do it alone. They have to be getting help. I can do a maximum of about 30/week myself. At that pace, I am working like a dog but making good money.
